Vanesa & Daniel Verčimáková

Vanesa is from Prešov in the Eastern region of Slovakia. It was there that she first heard about the possibility of a personal relationship with God at a Slovak English camp in 2016. She discovered that Jesus was not only here 2,000 years ago, but that he still loves her today and even wants to have a relationship with her. She gradually got to know the Lord God from new perspectives and began to serve him in her local church in Prešov. She felt like Prešov was her home and a place where she wanted to bring the good news, since she was able to hear it there too. In 2025 while still finishing college, she prayed and asked God where he wanted her to serve him. He reminded her how broken-hearted she was for the younger generation who did not know him and lived "empty" lives. After leading the Josiah Venture (JV) English camp in her city in 2025, she calmly and humbly became part of the JV English camp team of Slovakia.

Daniel and Vanesa got married in October 2025. In addition to studying at university, Daniel serves alongside Vanesa at their local church in Prešov as a youth leader. Both are involved in many church activities and are looking for ways to point people to Christ even more through their marriage.
