Jan & Tereza Rokosz

Adam, Šimon

Jan was born into a Czech Christian family. When he was eighteen years old, he started to help lead the local youth ministry in Karviná, Czech Republic. Later, he became the main leader. From that time, he felt that his ministry needed to focus on young people. After university, he worked for one school year as an English and P.E. teacher in a small private Montessori school. There, he felt that school and teaching was something that should be part of his life.

Between 2017 and 2021, Jan worked for the Comenius 2020 project under Josiah Venture’s partner organization in Czech (KAM) as its coordinator. Today he is using the skills, knowledge, and relationships from his school and youth group backgrounds to lead a team that regionally supports young leaders in the eastern part of Czech. His goal is to help young people be effective and Christ-centered in their ministry.

He's part of a leadership team in his local church in Karviná. Together with his wife Tereza, he and his wife are raising two boys, Adam and Šimon.
