Lelde Keice

Lelde was 14 when she became a Christian at a youth camp. She was first introduced to Josiah Venture (JV) in her second year of high school when her local pastor encouraged her to attend a leadership training program run by JV Latvia. The following couple of summers, she was involved with JV as a summer intern. Ever since, Lelde has been passionate about youth work and helping young people grow in their love, knowledge, and understanding of Jesus. A couple of years after graduating from high school, she moved to England. While there, she completed an Applied Theology & Youth Work degree at Moorlands College, while also serving in the youth ministry at a local church.

God called Lelde back to Latvia in 2015, and she currently leads a teenage ministry team at her local church in Riga. Christian camps have been a significant part of Lelde’s faith journey, and she views them as an excellent environment for young people to get to know Jesus in a safe, loving, and fun environment. Lelde is also passionate about equipping young leaders, and camps provide a safe space for them to develop and grow in their leadership abilities. She serves as the JV Latvia Camps Director.
